Frequently Asked Questions
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE EXPECTED AT THE SHOW?
Last year's CME (at another venue) attracted 5,000 visitors. The 2009 edition of the Canadian Motorsports Expo is the first at the International Centre. The show's promoters - which this year includes Inside Track Communications - are making an effort to dramatically increase the number of exhibitors, especially racetrack, series and motorsports clubs, with an eye to boosting show traffic.
DO I HAVE OPTIONS AS TO WHERE MY BOOTH WILL BE LOCATED?
A floor plan for Hall 1 at the International Centre is included in the Exhibitor Information Package. Exhibitors may indicate preferences when booking booth space, and these will be reviewed in the order the application and deposit are received by the CME. Every attempt will be made to accommodate requests.
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE FOR SECURING BOOTH SPACE?
This depends on the availability of space. To date, we've had a strong response. Once an exhibitor has submitted an application for space and made their deposit, their web banner can be included in the rotation on the CME homepage.
IS ELECTRICITY INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THE BOOTH?
It is not. Given that not every exhibitor requires an electrical hook-up, this is an additional service / cost. Showtech Power & Lighting handles power and banner/signage hanging at the International Centre. Click here to download the Showtech order form. The lighting in Hall 1 is sufficient, although additional lighting can help to brighten your booth. Exhibitors are allowed to install and use their own CSA-approved lighting.

THE CME IS MORE THAN JUST A SHOW
In addition to vendor booths and racecar displays, the Canadian Motorsports Expo is also a great venue for making motorsports-related announcements.
Do you have a new sponsor and you're looking for an impressive way to get maximum exposure for them, right out of the box? Or are you looking to make a big splash with the launch of ticket sales for your big race next summer? In either case, making your announcement at the CME in front of a big concentration of motorsports enthusiasts in Canada's largest media market is a good idea.
