UPDATE: As of 12:08, the boys are still on the plane, on the tarmac, in Halifax. They are scheduled to take off now, and should be in Toronto at 2:03 p.m. (Toronto time). Our plan is to get them to the Mazda Stage at the CME stage as soon as possible. We will continue to update their travel plans as things develop.

UPDATE: As of 10:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, the boys are on the plane, on the tarmac in Halifax. The flight is scheduled to leave there at 10:45 (Toronto time). This means that the originally scheduled session with them on the Mazda Stage at 11:45 has been cancelled. If and when they arrive, we will make them available for autographs as soon as possible, and we’ll get them on the Mazda Stage for a session starting around 3 p.m.

We will update the status of their appearance as we receive updates.

The travel situation with the SwearNet actors has no impact at all on Kyle Busch’s flight to Toronto. The weather is great in Charlotte and in Toronto and we’re excited to welcome one of NASCAR’s biggest superstars to the CME!

For VIP Meet & Greet and Reserved Seating package buyers at the CME yesterday and today, we are still very busy at the show but our goal is to put photos from the sessions on the site starting tomorrow (Monday, February 11). We have a ton of photos and we look forward to getting them online.

Yesterday’s celebrity guest, Michael Waltrip, was fantastic! He is a great ambassador for motorsports and it was his personal mission to sign an autograph for every person who wanted one. We’re honoured that he came to Canada the week before he heads to Daytona and we wish him luck in his quest for a third Daytona 500 victory.

Today is the final day of the 7th annual CME! Therefore, we are rescheduling the events originally scheduled for Friday night at the CME to the final two days of the show.

Spencer Lewis’ Ontario Short Track Power Rankings Awards will be held tomorrow (Saturday) starting at 6 p.m.

The Grassroots Media Panel will now take place starting at 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, February 10.

We have also been informed by McColl Racing Enterprises that Ashley Garrett from US Legends will be unable to make it to the show tomorrow due to the weather.

We apologize for the changes, but as of right now, the storm is expected to clear the Toronto area at any time and great weather is expected for the remainder of the weekend.

Toyota’s exciting involvement in racing today, as well as its longstanding history of success, will be featured prominently at the seventh annual Canadian Motorsports Expo (CME). The show takes place February 8-10 at the International Centre, adjacent to Toronto’s Pearson Airport.
