May 23, 2013- It is almost like déjà vu for Greg Belyea and his Excel Tower Racing team.  Looking back at the 2012 results, Belyea struggled in the early part of the season before coming on strong in the second half.  Here we are again just three events into the 2013 season at Brighton Speedway and Belyea has struggled.  The team is certainly not complacent with the car and have made wholesale changes each week, trying to get things turned around. May 23, 2013- May 21 featured the third race of the Spring series held at Chesterman Power Products Indoor track in Tillsonburg. Racers arrived to a beautifully graded, watered and packed track. It did not look so pretty after a lot of racing. Racers who were able to feel out a good line had good nights. Racers determined to drive through the rough stuff thought the track was rough. For the spectators it was great racing as even the experienced drivers had to take their time to work their way around traffic when the best line was already taken. Read more

May 22, 2013- After a long off-season, Joel Doiron finally got the 2013 racing season underway this past weekend.  First up was the opening night event's at Mohawk International Raceway in Hogansburg, New York, followed by the 100 lap Mr. DIRTcar Series/Canadian Nationals Series opener at Cornwall Speedway. Just heard the sad news that veteran racer / promoter Harry Macy has passed away. Don't know the details, but Harry was a great friend of motorsports. He was a longtime racer, car owner and president of the Can-Am Midget Racing Club. He was also the promoter of the winter indoor TQ and karting events at the Niagara Falls Convention Center. Read more
